On Saturday evening, the police received a report that someone had observed people with a gun at an address near Gravdal in Laksevåg.
– It was not described that there was any threatening situation, but the observation was that someone had held a gun. We moved out with several armed patrols. In the apartment in question, we came into contact with four people, says Dan Erik Johannessen, operations manager at the West police district.
He says that it was quickly clarified that the weapon that had been observed was an air pistol and that there had been no dangerous situation at the site.
But the police discovered something else at the address.
– Drugs were found. The amount and type are unknown, but a man in his 20s has been arrested and charged with the drug relationship, Johannessen says.
Another man, also in his 20s, has been brought in under the Police Act. The last two who were in the apartment have been checked out of the case.
– The arrest must have been completely undramatic, says the operations manager.
