Halme was boring in his first book God has mercy, I don’t. (Revontuli, 1998) Estrada as a woman who “does nothing but sit on her ass or go shopping”. According to Viking, the relationship died when he started to succeed as a show wrestler and Estrada didn’t feel like doing anything at home. The last tick, according to Halmee, was when a credit card bill of more than a hundred thousand marks fell out of the mailbox.
Later, Halme claimed in an interview with Iltalehti that he made an alliance with Estrada only to get a green card, i.e. a permanent residence permit, from the United States.
In the new book, Adriana Estrada denies Tony Halmee’s claim of a fake union. She says that she was truly in love with a man at the age of 24. The couple met in 1989 in a nightclub thanks to a mutual acquaintance, and Halme switched on the charm gear.
– We had been together for a few months when Tony said that he has to move back to Finland because he doesn’t have a green card. And that he would like to get married but knows that we haven’t been together long enough, describes Adriana Estrada in the book.
– Then he persuaded and manipulated me and convinced me to get engaged to him. However, he said let’s go to the courthouse and get married, but tell everyone we’re engaged. I agreed to it, I thought it was good, he continues in the piece.
Estrada remembers the early days of the relationship in Venice warmly: Tony’s show wrestling career as “Viikinki” took off and she saw the world with her husband. Estrada responds to Halmee’s claims about being lazy at home, that she was not the pea-soup-cooking mother figure her husband wanted, but a career woman. According to Estrada, Halme did not support her or pay anything to marry her.
During the relationship, Halme did not behave threateningly or violently towards her, or suffer from drug addiction. Instead, according to his wife, he used and sold doping and GBH, which is classified as a narcotic today.
Tony cheated rudely
The wife says that she found out that Tony Halmee had cheated on her when she took his mail out of the mailbox and noticed a letter written in a woman’s handwriting. Adriana Estrada called the woman and the harsh truth came out. Tony had claimed the couple were only married because of the residence permit, and called Adriana “the person who helped him with practical things.”
Another woman provided evidence of love letters that Adriana faxed to Tony, who was working in Japan. The triangle drama culminated in a “horrible conversation.” Even after that, the wife decided to trust her husband because the couple was trying for a child. Then he saw a woman he knew from California posing for Tony Halme’s photos in a wrestling magazine covered on his trip to Japan. He realized that there were more women.
Divorce was filed in 1992, when Adriana Estrada demanded that Halme pay her credit card debt, and Halme demanded the ring back.
The divorce took effect on August 25, 1993. Even after that, Tony Halme asked Adriana to get back together.
– I still loved him, because love only ends at the wall. At the same time, I hated him. I didn’t want to have anything to do with him anymore, says the American ex-wife in the book.
