Pulvar wants to create a regional public investment bank
The news of June 7. The socialist candidate in the regional elections in Île-de-France wishes to set up a public investment bank for “ecological conversion and local employment”. This proposal was made in the JDD, yesterday. For Audrey Pulvar, this body which would have a budget of “1 billion euros” will have to be “half financed by the Region, half by the sponsorship of large companies” and will have the mission of “supporting craftsmen, VSEs and SMEs “. According to her, these business loans would be in a local currency “on the model of that created by the Swiss bank WIR during the economic crisis of the 1930s”. The candidate also indicated that she wanted to create “a regional Livret A with guaranteed remuneration to mobilize the savings of Ile-de-France residents and direct them to useful investments”.
Audrey Pulvar is not the only one to offer this type of device for businesses in Île-de-France in its campaign program. The LREM candidate Laurent Saint-Martin offers “a popular savings fund” to help SMEs; Valérie Pécresse wants to set up an investment fund to bring the region into the capital of 150 small businesses, which have been affected by the Covid-19 health crisis.

On the occasion of the regional meetings, environmental associations want a debate between candidates
This Thursday, several associations (Amap Ile-de-France, the Grouping of organic farmers of Ile-de-France, Terre de Liens, the Network of the Confédération paysanne Ile-de-France and the Platform for another CAP) are organizing a debate between regional candidates on agriculture in the region. This associations consider it necessary that “the candidates position themselves on other agricultural subjects beyond their vision on the orientation of the public order of the collective catering of high schools and that they confront their vision of agriculture”, recalling that the regional council is “in charge of part of the CAP funds and it coordinates or sits in various bodies of the agricultural sector essential to facilitate the installation of new peasants. In parallel, with the SDRIF (Master plan of the IDF region ) it defines the development of town planning at the regional level, and therefore the protection of agricultural land “. The debate is to be found on this Facebook page, it is moderated by two journalists.

Valérie Pécresse wants facial recognition in Île-de-France transport
The news of June 2. The outgoing president of the Île-de-France region makes some strong proposals on the subject of security, in an interview published in Le Figaro. Valérie Pécresse announces her desire to create an Ile-de-France agency for community service (TIG) for first-time offenders. Its mission would be to supervise these TIG, “in connection with the municipalities, so that the courts can pronounce more and that they are carried out quickly”. The candidate adds: “Today, the time that elapses before the execution of a TIG is more than four hundred days”.
Valérie Pécresse also says she is in favor, in this interview, for the use of facial recognition in public transport in the Île-de-France region, asking for a change in national legislation: “I want the government to take action – the body a taboo subject: the question of artificial intelligence and facial recognition The cameras that we have deployed in transport have made it possible to increase the crime clearance rate by 20 to 30%. […] If we want to process the images, we will need artificial intelligence to identify suspicious behavior. Finally, I would like a national debate on the use of facial recognition at the entrance to public transport, to identify wanted terrorists. When we take the plane, we use it. When you take the train or the RER, no. It is unjustifiable to be better protected on a plane than on the suburban train, when the terrorist risk is currently so present, “she said.

Julien Bayou believes that the regional will be used for 2022
The news of June 1. “There will be more participants in our primary if we won a region or two,” said Julien Bayou in an interview with AFP. The environmental candidate sees a double objective in the regional elections: to succeed in raising the ecological ideology to a region and above all to give weight to the party with a view to the presidential election. The party primaries scheduled for September could mobilize more contenders on EELV already presides over part of French territory through the regional council, he said. The ecologist is still awaiting the results to see the success of the campaign, but he is already convinced that the party has made a dazzling advance: “It is already historic to have green leaders capable of leading the rally of the left in the second round “.

The EELV candidate sees himself unifying the left in the second round
The news of May 28. “Valérie Pécresse is the enemy of ecology,” assured her opponent Julien Bayou. “She opposed the pedestrianization of the ways on the banks and did nothing against pollution in Ile-de-France. Today 1 Ile-de-France dies every hour of pollution” he criticized on BFM Paris in parallel with the presentation of its proposals for the environment and against pollution. The ecologist already imagines himself at the head of the rally of the left in the second round. “I had an objective from the start of the campaign: to get out (in the first round) at the head of a possible rally. This is the case, the last three or four polls put me in the lead on the left” he explained in travel to Seine-Saint-Denis. Problem, the candidate supported by the PS, Audrey Pulvar, is also seen carried the alliance of the left. The scores in the first ballot will decide for them to represent this alliance tarnished by political egos.

LREM plays the technology card to finalize its program
The news of May 26. Laurent Saint-Martin unveiled a large part of the 154 proposals of his program for the region at a press conference, but if they are not all achievable in the space of a term, the candidate has set himself a list of priorities . And to best meet the expectations of Ile-de-France residents, the head of the list offers citizens the opportunity to give their opinion on the policies and points to be developed in the first place thanks to a QR code to be scanned on the back of the LREM candidate’s program. While the pandemic has forced the top of the list to resort to technology and social media to campaign, some are turning this difficulty to their advantage.

Audrey Pulvar must deal with the accusations of Gerald Darmanin
The news of May 24. Audrey Pulvar’s campaign is fraught with pitfalls. The association of his name with various polemics does not help him to impose himself in the voting intentions while his list already generates little support. Since this weekend, the candidate supported by the PS has been the target of criticism from the Minister of the Interior who accuses her of “defaming the police”. The subject is delicate only a few days after the demonstration of the members of the police force where Gérald Darmanin was present, especially since it arouses the debate within the same left. If Audrey Pulvar did not go to the rally, Anne Hidalgo and elected environmentalists were indeed present alongside the police.

The candidate has already indicated that if she was re-elected, it would organize a regional referendum in the fall: “For or against the removal of a lane on the ring road?”.

From ecology in all programs to regional ones in Île-de-France
The news of May 20. The heads of the lists integrate all ecology into their program with measures specific to each one, a quick overview. Valérie Pécresse wants to make Ile-de-France a ZAN region (zero soil artificialization), preserve agricultural land and continue the organic conversion of crops. Jordan Bardella defends the development of short circuits for collective catering (canteens, etc.), the preservation of agricultural land against concreteization and aid for conversion to organic, the hiring of seasonal workers as well as in the search for alternatives to pesticides. The environmental candidate, Julien Bayou is campaigning to preserve and triple the number of farms. It also relies on the establishment of 100% organic and local meals in canteens and the creation of two new agricultural high schools. Laurent Saint-Martin is also taking a stand against excessive concreteization and is especially considering the implementation of financial aid for farmers. Audrey Pulvar takes up the key ideas already mentioned: fight against concreteization, establish short circuits and financial aid but also advocates for a diversification of crops and the multiplication of agricultural land. Finally, the Insubordinate, Clémentine Autain wishes to test the direct exploitation of land by the region.

Strong proposals for transport for regional 2021
The news of May 19. Three lists make transport a key point of their program. Audrey Pulvar, since entering the race has been promoting her plan for free transport for those under 18, students and job seekers, which she describes as a “social justice” measure. The candidate supported by the PS is also considering a network development and the creation of new stations. Free transport is an idea shared by rebellious Clémentine Autain for those under 18, but above all she wants to “stop the recently started privatization movement and make investments a priority”. Finally, Valérie Pécresse is also investing in this land, but from a more environmental than social angle by creating a “RER bicycle” thanks to the multiplication of cycle lanes.
