Covid Croatia, from Monday ok to outdoor restaurants and bars

Croatia has decided on a series of reopening from next Monday, although in recent days the new cases of coronavirus infection have started to rise again. The government has announced that from 1 March, after more than three months, bars and restaurants will be able to resume operations, but only in the open spaces and until 10 pm. Customers and staff will have to observe strict sanitary measures. Relaxation of restrictions for indoor sports activities is also likely, with the limit of one person per 20 square meters in a gym. There remain the prohibitions of gatherings in public of more than 15 people and the obligation to wear protective masks in all closed places. The reopenings, also planned for the arrival of spring and good weather, however, coincide with the data of the infections that have slowly returned to rise, from about 200-300 new cases per day, to an average of about 500. So from yesterday there have been another 505 cases and to date there are 3,040 people with active infection, of which 73 in serious condition. There were 14 deaths, a number that brings the total of victims to 5,503. Since the first case of Covid-19, confirmed in Croatia a year ago, 242,000 infections have been recorded in the country, about 6 percent of the entire population.
