The Food and Drug Authority has responded to an inquiry into the safety of some artificial sweeteners marketed as organic products.
The authority said it has evaluated some commercial sweetener products, including stevia, aspartame, corn starch and others, stressing that they have been shown through scrutiny and evaluation to be safe and pose no threat to human health.
He pointed out that the use of “tin” aluminum foil in cooking increases the possibility of migration of the aluminum element into the food.
