The Food and Drug Authority has commented on reports that one of the biscuit types contains a pork substance.
The authority confirmed, via its Twitter account, that all food in the Kingdom is halal, noting its enthusiasm and follow-up on food products to ensure their approved standard specifications.
The American company Nabisco, which produces the famous Oreo cookie, had previously confirmed that its products sold in Arab markets are halal and comply with those countries’ specifications.
