Today (Saturday), Former Hajj Minister Dr Mahmoud Safar passed away, while his brother Dr Hassan Safar mourned him.
The deceased was born in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in 1940 AD and studied engineering to become Dean of Student Affairs at King Saud University in addition to his academic work, a member of the Supreme Council of the University and a member of the Advisory Board of the Council Supreme of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Kingdom.
The deceased authored several books, including: Development is an Issue, Civilization is a Challenge, A Loop in the Dead End, A Study in Civilization Building, A Hole in the Wall of Underdevelopment, The Gulf Crisis, and Thoughts and Reflections on People and Life.
