Saudi Airlines will soon unveil the “Your Ticket is a Visa” program, which enables passengers aboard its flights to enter the Kingdom for a period of 96 hours, through which they can tour the regions of the Kingdom and perform Umrah.
Abdullah Al-Shahrani, the official spokesperson for Saudi Arabian Airlines, said:News 24 The new program will allow the visitor to link his visa to the stage of issuing the ticket. When the traveler is interested in buying a ticket, he will be linked to a direct question about his need for the visa. If he answers with approval, he will complete the procedure that does not exceed 3 minutes from the same site without the need to resort to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website to obtain A visa, as is the case in some countries.
He stressed that the “Your Ticket is a Visa” program will create a large demand for international flights to Saudi Arabia, expressing the air carrier’s readiness in its plan for the current year to increase the demand for international flights by 40%, and that there are new destinations that are expected to expand and will be announced soon.
Al-Shahrani added that what prompted us to launch the program was our desire for many Islamic communities to be optimistic that Saudi Arabia would be a stopping point for them, especially the city of Jeddah, to perform the rituals of Umrah, and then complete their journey. It is not limited to Jeddah Airport only, but includes all international airports.
