Qatar’s Interior Ministry announced today (Tuesday) that citizens and residents of Gulf Cooperation Council countries who do not have World Cup tickets can enter Qatar through its various ports, without the need for the card “Haya”, starting today.
The Ministry said that regarding entry through airports, citizens and residents of Gulf Cooperation Council countries arriving in Qatar will be able to enter without requiring registration via the Haya platform, starting today.
He added that bus transport will be available to all travelers through the port, as is the case under normal circumstances, and parking spaces will be allocated free of charge to visitors.
He specified that those who come from the citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries through the land ports with their private vehicles, will be able to enter Qatar starting tomorrow (Thursday), and will need to apply for permission through the website web of to the Ministry of the Interior at least 12 hours before the travel date.
The Interior Ministry said this step is part of the state’s efforts to provide an opportunity for visitors, citizens and residents of the Gulf countries to enjoy the atmosphere that accompanies World Cup matches and entertainment during the remainder of this tournament and to facilitate the entry mechanism through all outlets to join the hundreds of thousands of fans in the stadium Stadiums, dedicated fan zones and observation areas to cheer on the world’s brightest footballers.
At the same time, he stressed that fans wishing to attend matches must register on the “Haya” electronic platform.
