The authority said the vaccine was safe, and specialists recommend taking it annually for everyone aged 6 months or older, indicating that the vaccine is the first and best way to reduce the chances of flu infection.
He stressed that the vaccine reduces the chances of hospitalization and helps limit the spread of the infection in the community, and is important for all age groups, including healthy people and those at risk of contracting the disease, especially elderly, pregnant women, children and people suffering from chronic diseases.
