News 24 | Official statistics: Men go to hospital emergencies more than women

The Ministry of Health has estimated the number of emergency auditors in Ministry hospitals during the year 2021 AD, at 11.4 million male and female auditors, of which approximately 6 million are male, constituting approximately 53% of the total of auditors, while the number of female reviews reached 5.4 million, or about 47%.

According to the Ministry of Health’s annual statistical book, the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region had the highest number of emergency auditors than the rest of the regions, with 1.6 million auditors and auditors, followed by the Riyadh region with 1, 4 million reviewers and reviewers, while the Jazan region ranked third with 1.1 million reviewers and reviewers.

The book included the number of reviewers by nationality and gender, as the number of male citizens reached 5.1 million and female citizens 4.9 million, while the number of non-Saudi males reached 850,000 and non-Saudi females 529,000 .

The number of auditors, according to regions and cities, is as follows: Makkah Al-Mukarramah 1.6 million, Riyadh 1.4 million, Jizan 1.1 million, Medina 923 thousand, Qassim 986 thousand, Al-Ahsa 620 thousand, Eastern Provinces 280 thousand, Hafar Al-Batin 469 thousand, Asir 789 thousand, Bisha 196 thousand, Tabuk 208 thousand, Hail 691 thousand, Northern Borders 380 thousand, Najran 507 thousand, Al-Baha 337 thousand, Al-Jawf 351 thousand, Qurayyat 327 thousand, Al-Qunfudhah 142 thousand.
