The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance announced the start of the implementation of the project of installing partitions and glass partitions for mosques and mosques for 589 mosques and universities in the regions of the Kingdom.
She explained that the project aims to reduce electrical energy consumption, extend the life of air conditioning, furnishings and lighting, and reduce the maintenance cost of this separated part by more than 70%. It represents a direct reduction in the costs of electricity consumption, and indirect costs such as maintenance, furnishings and additions.
The ministry indicated that it is working in the regions of the Kingdom to install partitions and glass barriers for the mosques and mosques of the first group in Riyadh, which represents the number of 64 universities, in addition to 100 mosques in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, 58 in the Eastern region, 30 in Tabuk region, 83 in Al-Qassim region, 89 in Najran region, and 100 in Asir region. And 23 in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, 22 in the Northern Borders region, and 20 in Al-Jouf, with amounts exceeding 44 million riyals.
