The Public Transport Authority has announced the start of the implementation of the new identity for vehicles used for the activity of transporting cars and towing vehicles, starting today (Saturday).
The authority said that the application of the new identity aims to develop the services provided to the beneficiaries and improve the security requirements during transport operations, indicating that the new identity will allow for greater organization and governance of the activity and will combat its concealment, so as to ensure an improvement in the quality and efficiency of these services.
And he specified that the new identity provides for the unified colour, the markings and the data to be affixed compulsorily on the vehicles that operate in the activity of transporting cars and trucks, with the exception of an “annual period” for those who are in possession of a regular cards and before the date of effective request for the new identity.
The Authority has invited the bodies and individuals who operate in the activity to read the regulation governing the activity and further details on its website, specifying that it allows requests and observations to be forwarded by direct communication through the unified number: 19929.
