The Ministry of Health has warned of serious health complications caused by seasonal flu to children.
The Ministry said that a child infected with the flu can be exposed to serious complications such as sinus problems, asthma exacerbations, respiratory distress syndrome, bronchitis, pneumonia and ear infections and, in rare cases, the flu can lead to death .
And the Ministry of Health has advised that children should be vaccinated to prevent seasonal flu and to keep them safe.
