The Gulf Cooperation Council’s Health Council has warned against the use of growth hormone and steroids to gain muscle mass, due to the serious complications it causes on human health.
The council explained that among these complications are impotence, liver problems, kidney damage and heart disease such as a heart attack.
And he indicated that muscle mass can be increased by eating foods that contain a high percentage of protein, in addition to protein supplements, taking into account the health status of those with liver and kidney problems.
