News 24 | Gulf Health: 5 Benefits of Seniors Doing Some Daily Activities Alone

The Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council recommended allowing seniors to carry out some of their daily activities due to the presence of health benefits.

The council explained that it is medically recommended for older adults to engage in daily activities that do not require high effort, such as grocery shopping, plant watering and exercise. He indicated that these activities are characterized by great health benefits, as they increase the individual’s physical activity level, help stimulate memory and improve mental abilities.

He noted that there are positive repercussions for seniors to perform certain daily activities, including complacency, and their feeling that they are still active people in society.
