Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti of Italy believes that playing in the Arab region is not suitable for Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ancelotti said, according to Spain’s ‘AS’: “Messi and Ronaldo have performed wonderfully and have scored many goals in recent years. Messi has finally won the World Cup while Ronaldo has not succeeded, but that does not deny that he has had a wonderful career.”
He added: “I don’t know what he will decide about his future, but I think he wants to stay and play at a very high level, and that is what the Arab world cannot give him.”
He concluded: “The Arab leagues are not suitable for Ronaldo. He wants to continue the competition and you won’t find him there.”
Ronaldo was linked with a move to Al-Nasr club during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to Spanish newspaper ‘Marca’.
