The Director of Public Security, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Bassami, confirmed today (Sunday) that the security patrols will be provided with technical systems that will enable them to detect the wanted persons while they are on the roads.

He explained, during his speech in a dialogue session within the 22nd Scientific Forum for Hajj and Umrah Research, that the “We are all safe” platform is currently being developed, so that the informant can upload all data via the platform.

He added that the security men were supported with devices capable of obtaining data, permits, and other required information and data during their work, and the “Sawaher” platform will be launched soon, to identify people and vehicles at the security control centers at the entrances to Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

For his part, the Director General of Passports, Lieutenant General Suleiman Al-Yahya, stated that the “Makkah Road” initiative has been applied to a number of countries, and there is a great demand from other countries, but the issue of making this service available is subject to specific studies and standards to ensure that the application of this service in the concerned country achieves results. desired.

He pointed out that 13% of the guests of Rahman benefited from the Makkah Road initiative during the last Hajj season 1443 AH, pointing out that this initiative facilitated a lot for the pilgrims and shortened their time.
