Al-Alami added that the work pressure does not cause any violent problems, indicating that the cause of this incident is due to psychological problems that the person is exposed to, in addition to his betrayal of the trust, especially since there are several ways to relieve pressures, such as seeking help from the head of the department, or going on leave, indicating that he must The health practitioner undergoes a psychological evaluation, to examine his mental abilities and personal disorders, to understand his personality, and whether he is fit for such work.

For his part, psychologist Osama Al-Jamea stressed that work pressures “are not a justification for assaulting infants,” because the person who is under pressure performs non-violent acts on others.

And the mosque considered in his speech to “News 24“, that the assault on “infants” is characterized by heinousness and criminality by all human standards and norms and is unimaginable, and confirms that this indicates a defect in the human personality because this work is her choice and responsibility, indicating that whoever suffers from work pressures may enter into a state of depression or may be absent from working or sleeping for long hours.

Yesterday (Monday), the Public Prosecution, represented by the Persons Assault Prosecution, charged a female citizen working as a health practitioner in the neonatal nursery department with assaulting 11 infants, and she was sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of 100,000 riyals.

An official source in the Public Prosecution confirmed that after looking at the surveillance cameras of the infant nursery room, it was found that the aforementioned woman practiced her work with great force and violence on the body of one of the infants, without observing the medical controls and standards prescribed for newborns in such cases, but the health practice justified her action with “work pressures.” .
