The Damage Inventory Committee, made up of several government agencies, has begun assessing the damage to citizens and residents affected by the torrential rains that hit Jeddah Governorate late last week.

Jeddah Municipality had earlier confirmed that those affected by the downpours and torrential rains the governorate witnessed last Thursday will be compensated under the same compensation mechanism in 2009.
The Secretariat called on those affected to apply to the Crisis and Disaster Center, represented in all government agencies, for harm and damage limitation and to take regular steps for compensation.
