A traffic inspector from Rijkswaterstaat dismissed several truckers last night because they had stopped in a place where this is not permitted: on the hard shoulder along the motorway. Things went badly at various points along the A58, A67 and A2, among others.
Along the A67 near Veldhoven, near the Oeienbosch petrol station, according to the road inspector, two motorists indicated that they did not know where to park to rest. Remarkable, because they were right in front of a sign that indicated just that.
