A bright and colorful passageway with 12 informative display boards
The Kästenbaum Tunnel connects the historic district of Oberlaa with the area of the Therme Wien and the Oberlaa spa park for pedestrians and cyclists. The almost 100 meter long tube between rural and urban areas shines in new splendor: the gray tunnel has become an inviting, bright and colorful passage with a lot of information about the history of Oberlaa and the surrounding area. The project was implemented by WSE Wiener Lageentwicklung GmbH, a Wien Holding company.
12 display boards with information about the district, the thermal spring, the film city, the Vienna International Garden Show 74 as well as its heritage and much more are waiting for you to explore.
