Rafael Leão has had a more difficult autumn and has not reached the heights he has had in recent seasons in Milan. But now there are reports that he is attracting interest from big clubs on the continent after all.
It is information from the site Téléfoot which claims that the Portuguese is on the radar of both Paris Saint-Germain and Alexander Isak’s Newcastle United in the Premier League.
PSG are active during the winter window, but sporting director Luis Campos is reportedly already out and about preparing for the summer window – with Leão seen as the main target for the French capital side.
Campos worked with the 24-year-old during their time at Lille and Leão is said to be aware of PSG’s interest and is said to be open to listening to the explanation of the sporting project.
The main contenders to sign Leão are said to be Newcastle, who are also on the hunt for attacking reinforcements – despite reports that the club may be forced to sell players for large sums to “balance the books” in line with Financial Fair Play.
