According to Ardern, the new sanctions will include a ban on entry into New Zealand for Russian officials and a number of other citizens.
“They will be prohibited from obtaining visas to enter or transit through New Zealand,” the prime minister explained.
In addition, New Zealand will ban the export of Russian goods to its territory, which will affect any enterprises, organizations and individuals associated with the Russian military and security agencies.
