The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree New York is one of those Christmas symbols known throughout the world. His arrival in downtown Manhattan is always a warning that the festivities are near, and in a year that has been difficult for everyone, many people hope that this type of action will be a reminder of better times.
Last Saturday the workers began with the installation of the tree at Rockefeller Center. Canadian spruce, almost 23 meters high, traveled to the Big Apple from the town of Oneonta, in central New York, where this year the Rockefeller’s head gardener, Erik Fauze, found the right tree, with “the perfect Christmas shape,” he explained to the local media. But nevertheless, not everyone is satisfied.

As a curiosity this year, when the workers were installing the tree they discovered that among its branches there were An owl who had traveled to New York in his nest. The animal has been rescued and will be taken to an animal sanctuary.
