New Yorkers go to the polls with early voting

A married couple of Guatemalan origin went to the polls to vote in advance. They have lived in the city for more than fifty years and believe that security should be a high priority for the next representative candidate.

“Very important. You cannot go out, you have to take so many precautions, you have to look back because whenever something happens the police are not here,” explains Víctor Hernández.

While for Carmen Hernández: “The good thing is that we have to make our own decisions and for a better government here in New York many things are needed.”
