The company’s profit growth was faster last year – SIA “New Yorker Latvija” net profit increased by 31.3% compared to 2016 and amounted to 2.167 million euros.
New Yorker Latvija continued to strengthen its position in the Latvian market by managing five New Yorker brand stores in Riga, Valmiera and Liepaja, the company’s 2017 annual report said.
The number of employees of the company increased to 84 last year, which was four employees more than in 2016. The retailer’s total payments to the general state budget amounted to 2.362 million euros, which was an increase of 10.3%.
This year, the company plans to increase sales, as well as the number of employees.
“New Yorker Latvija” was registered in 2006, the company belongs to the company “New Yorker Retail International GmbH” registered in Germany.
In 2016, New Yorker Latvija’s net turnover was 9.073 million euros, while the company’s net profit was 1.650 million euros.
