New York will vaccinate for free at subway stations

The vaccination campaign in USA it is achieving positive and evident results. However, a large part of the population is still reluctant to immunization against COVID-19.

That is why, in their eagerness to encourage vaccination, different US governments propose plans and measures to unblock the refusal of that part of the population. That was the case with New York, which made an interesting program whose main location is the subway stations.





As announced by the New York governor, Andrew Cuomo, from Wednesday 12 to Sunday 16, eight stations will be enabled for the free application of the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.

Those who get vaccinated, in addition to gaining immunity against the pandemic, will get free rides for seven days or two free tickets to the Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North.

According to record that carry out the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States has already vaccinated with at least one dose per 46,2%, what translates into 153.448.316 inoculants applied, while the 35,1% of americans, 116.576.359 people, have already completed their vaccination schedule.
