The city of New York will begin its second phase of reopening on Monday, the mayor said Bill de Blasio, who cited continued improvements in data regarding coronavirus.
Offices, retail stores, outdoor restaurants and hair salons are among the businesses that will be able to reopen during phase two.
“We have seen steady progress and it is time to tell everyone to get ready for phase two,” he said. De Blasio Thursday at a press conference.
The official also signed a decree launching the initiative “Open Restaurants“which will allow restaurants, cafes and bars that serve food to request the use of certain spaces such as sidewalks to eat outdoors.
