Posted on April 4, the video was filmed in Central Park, New York, by teacher Caroline Arcand.
The students, soggy and tired from the long hours of walking, stopped to listen to a musician performing in the underground area near the Bethesda Fountain.
At first they listened to the musician, showing generosity by giving him a few dollars.
The moment became magical when the students began to sing in chorus the song that the guitarist was performing, All of Me from singer John Legend.
The teacher published a text accompanying the video: “Wonderful moment lived in New York. It’s snowing, it’s cold, we’ve been walking for many minutes in an empty Central Park, our feet are completely soaked … It was not planned, but we invite the students to descend near Bethesda Fountain and pass briefly into the small underground, rather than continuing our way. We come across this guitarist … the rest is magic. Her smile at the end of the video says it all. We sang 4-5 songs with him. Maybe this guy got up thinking his day would be long, sad and lonely. In 15 minutes, everything changed 🙂 Our students were so generous, monetarily but above all humanly! Sometimes it doesn’t take much. The group has surely made its day, and maybe even its week or its month … It will be a memorable memory, which will have made live beautiful emotions and moistened the eyes of many. “
The video has since been viewed over 20,000 times and has been shared nearly 245 times.
A moment that these young people will not soon forget.
