In the video, you can see how a man dressed in black and with his face covered chases and shoots another, dressed in red, in the middle of Sheridan Avenue, in the borough of the Bronx.
In his quick escape, the man in red throws the children to the ground and tries to hide behind them, while the attacker continues to shoot without caring about the presence of the children at the scene.

In the midst of this violent event, the 10-year-old girl gathered up her courage and pulled her brother, who was only 5 years old, by the arm, wrapping his body around him to protect him from a possible gunshot wound.
According to the police report, the attacker shot about 12 chances in the middle of the street.
They also detailed that three of the shots hit the 24-year-old victim in the back and legs.
Despite receiving three gunshot wounds, he was taken to a hospital and is out of risk.
