As the highly contagious Delta variant of the coronavirus pushes a growing number of countries to impose new restrictions, half of the European Union’s population is now fully vaccinated against Covid-19. New York, first American city to introduce a vaccine passport

In New York, a city of more than 8 million people, 71.8% of adults have received at least one dose of the vaccine, according to city hall figures.
