The Whitney Museum of American Art is a beautiful and popular museum that you should definitely stop by. The building alone is impressive. The exhibits are constantly changing, but are always worth checking out.
The Frankie Shop, which you have probably seen on Instagram, is next to Paris only in New York. You will find the nicest items there. INA is my favorite place for vintage. They mainly have clothing, but also beautiful designer bags.
For a not so average night out Chamber Magic is my ultimate tip. That’s a magic show in Uptown New York – but not the touristy kind. I went a few months ago and believe me it’s really nice. What you have to imagine: an intimate magic show for about thirty people, in a chic hotel. Truly something you can only do in New York.
Also always a success: Sing Sing Karaoke in East Village. The name says it all: a bar where you can sing your heart out in small rooms.”

New York on film en facial mist
“As much as you want to walk in style in New York, good running shoes are a must must† It’s a big city, but you can walk everywhere if you have good sneakers.
In addition, I always take my Contax T2 camera with me. I think New York is the ultimate place to shoot film. That vintage vibe fits well with the city.
Also indispensable is my facial mist from Dr. Barbara Sturm. In the summer a very nice way to cool off, but actually during every city trip a must have† You get on the spot a wonderfully fresh feeling.”
