Established in 1904, the Peninsula New York is one of the iconic historic buildings on the famous Fifth Avenue. Its renovation was inspired by the Manhattan elegance of the Roaring Twenties, mixed with simple, soft and careful renovations, and enhanced with special equipment and personalized services.

The Grand Entrance and The Palm Court
Upon arrival at the property, guests are welcomed into the Grand Entrance with a magnificent chandelier overlooking the stunning double height Lobby, with a double marble staircase. The comfortable areas of the reception and the Concierge have been redesigned, with a special decoration with lighter and lighter finishes, decorated with rich woodwork, which provides a welcoming place for customers. The Palm Court, the hotel’s main atrium, will feature a recently commissioned triptych by contemporary artist Ricardo Mazal. Rooms have been designed to provide light-filled luxury accommodation, equipped with the latest high-tech facilities and amenities, including in-room technology developed by the Peninsula. Customers therefore have touchscreen tablets in six languages (French, Japanese, Spanish, English, Arabic and Simplified Chinese) providing access to a digital concierge available 24 hours a day, bedside tablets that ‘ allowing them to control the temperature and lighting of the room, as well as other improvements for the greater comfort of passengers around the world. White-on-white jacquard fabrics, Quagliotti bed linen and interesting furniture help create an elegant atmosphere, with etched glass, molded headboards and contemporary light fixtures.

Returning to the original name, the renovated roof reflects an artist’s studio, mainly planted with plants and equipped with comfortable sofas, and offers the level of comfort and service that has won The Peninsula New York fame. Pen Top is poised to establish itself as Midtown’s premier rooftop, offering a unique blend of luxury and elegance for city dwellers and discerning travelers alike.
Located just off the Lobby, the Gotham Lounge is back as an elegant piano bar with a cozy atmosphere. It offers the opportunity to enjoy fine food and drink, while listening to timeless classics beautifully performed by a resident pianist on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, from 6pm to 9pm. Decorated with artwork by local artists and luxurious furniture, the Gotham Lounge is the perfect place for unforgettable nights.
In addition to the redesigned Pen Top and Gotham Lounge, guests can also sit at Clement, a premier Midtown destination for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Le Clement and the adjoining bar offer new dishes created by Chef Malte Kontor, specialty drinks and seasonal events.
