New York teenager stabbed to death in Manhattan subway station

A 14-year-old was stabbed to death at the 137th Street subway station in Manhattan on Saturday afternoon during a fight with another teenager, police say.

The teenagers were on a 1 train approaching the City College stop around 3pm when they started fighting and one of them pulled out a knife, sources said.

The victim was stabbed in the stomach and taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, sources said.

The victim knew his attacker, who fled to the police station, police said. The attacker was described as 18 or 19 years old with an afro and wearing an orange shirt and black pants
