With his superb season in EuroLeague (19.3 points, second best scorer in the championship), Mike James impressed. Unfortunately, the native of Portland saw his season come to an end due to a suspension decided by CSKA Moscow coach Dimitris Itoudis.
The American leader could however see a way out, since the New York Knicks would be interested in him, according to the New York Post. With the end of John Henson’s contract, the Knicks now have a free spot in their squad, and have said they are not looking for another interior.
Already passed through the NBA during the 2017-2018 season, with the Pelicans then the Suns, Mike James had not had the opportunity to reveal his great talent, with in particular, a weak 27% at 3-points. Today, it is a weapon that he has perfected since he turns at 40%.
