New York Subway Train Derailment: Several Injured and Service Suspended After Second Incident in a Week

For the second time in less than a week, a New York subway train derailed.

On this occasion, the incident occurred a few meters before the train arrived at the Neptune Avenue station in Brooklyn.

The accident was reported around 12:25 noon this Wednesday at the intersection of Neptune Avenue and West 6th Street on the F Line.

Videos shared by social media users show that the cars were stranded a few meters from arriving at the station.

Firefighters arrived at the scene to evacuate the cars.

It was reported that a wheel on one of the carriages had come off the track, but this has not been confirmed.

So far no injuries were reported.

Even the authorities have not officially confirmed the incident.

The MTA assured that they are investigating because the train stopped in the vicinity of the track.

Service is interrupted in the area.

The accident left at least 24 people injured and caused the service to be suspended for several days.
