Wall Street investors appeared to be in a good mood just before the weekend. After an already strong trading week, equity markets took a step further on Friday. The leading Dow Jones Industrial Index rose 2.42% to 32,807.56 points, leading it to a weekly increase of 5.5%. The market-wide S&P 500 rose 2.13% on Friday to 3888.27 points. US stock exchanges also received support this week from falling bond market yields.
