(New York) The New York Stock Exchange opened in the green on Thursday, encouraged by a new sign that inflation is slowing in the United States as wholesale prices fell sharply in March.
The Dow Jones index was up 0.17%, the tech-heavy NASDAQ was up 0.70% and the broader S&P 500 index was up 0.31%, minutes after opening.
