In the coronavirus pandemic, shops in New York will soon be allowed to spread to the sidewalks. From this Friday and initially until the end of the year, the shops should use part of the sidewalks in front of it for the display and sale of goods, for queues or to process payments, said Mayor Bill de Blasio on Wednesday. That should support them in the crisis. In the summer, the city had already allowed restaurants, cafes and bars to serve food and drinks in front of the door. The program is considered a great success and should remain so for the time being.
