New York seen by the Circus

After two catastrophic years caused by the pandemic, Cirque du Soleil is making a strong comeback in Las Vegas. From May, the company will present a brand new show there: Mad Apple. “The best way to sum it up is: the craziest night in New York…in Las Vegas”, mentions to the Journal the new Cirque CEO, Stéphane Lefebvre.

After closing his show Zumanity at the New York New York hotel-casino in the spring of 2020, Cirque du Soleil was looking for an idea to occupy the establishment’s theater again. It’s designer Simon Painter, behind the show The Illusionnistswhich Cirque acquired in 2019, who came up with the idea of Mad Apple.
