New York reduces visiting permits in public hospitals

Due to the contagion of the omicron variant of the coronavirus, visits to public hospitals in the city are suspended from today.

However, there will be some exceptions that could include people in need of companions for medical reasons, women in labor, pediatric patients, those with disabilities, and terminally ill patients.

Visitors must show proof of full vaccination or show a negative result within the last 24 hours.

Those with symptoms of coronavirus will not be allowed to enter.
