Toronto FC had a disastrous presentation at home, as they fell 1-4 against New York Red Bulls, which, contrary to the Canadian team, began the 2022 MLS season very hooked. The visitors had their best player in Lewis Morgan, who scored three goals in the first half so that his team could add three more points.
The previous one was very emotional with a tribute to the Ukrainian people and with the intonation of the national anthems of Canada and the United States for the first time at BMO Field within the current campaign. However, very early on the New York RB got ahead on the scoreboard. Salcedo was the starter
Mexican Carlos Salcedo appeared in front of his new fansjumped onto the pitch at BMO Field as a starter and was booked. The ‘Titan’ played 80 minutes and there was little he could do to prevent the defeat of his team.
