NEW YORK – The three-state area experienced a weekend of record temperatures for this time of year and Monday is also expected to be a hotter than normal day.
On Sunday, the record was broken with temperatures of 75 degrees in Central Park that hadn’t been recorded since 2015 when it hit 74 degrees. In the same year, 75 degrees were recorded at LaGuardia Airport.
This humidity and heat arrived during the New York marathon being the hottest day for this event since it was moved to November in 1986.
When does the cold arrive?
While most of the work week will be pleasant, temperatures are expected to drop to 20 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday due to a cold front approaching the region. In these days the temperatures will be between 56 and 58 degrees with lows up to 39 degrees. For Friday and Saturday, rains are expected and from there more temperatures of the season.
Remember Authority in Time that early Tuesday there will be a full moon eclipse that will last nearly 4 hours and start at 3:00 am where the moon will appear reddish.
