Rats may be a daily nuisance for millions of New Yorkers, but for some tourists it’s becoming a tourist attraction.
All thanks to the influencer Kenny Bollwerk who is dedicated to making videos about these rodents on the streets of New York.
For some time now, Bollwerk has offered visitors to the city a tour of the areas where there are the most rat sightings.
On his Tiktok channel nyc_kb or the Rat Tok as he calls it, you can see how people react to encountering rodents in the streets, garbage cans, and construction sites.
Some reckless tourists even dare to touch them or stretch their tails.
Although it is not known exactly how many rats there are in New York, estimates are around 4 million.
