New York Rangers Set to Appoint Peter Laviolette as Next Head Coach

Everything indicates that the New York Rangers have made their choice when it comes to their next head coach.

After several rumors all pointed to John Hynes last week, we will probably be entitled to a turnaround as the journalist and insider Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports that the team’s management is set to appoint Peter Laviolette as the team’s next head coach.

Laviolette left the Washington Capitals at the end of last season.
