New Yorkers placed their first legal online sports betting in the state on Saturday morning, the first day mobile sports betting was permitted in the Empire State.

One player was feeling lucky, putting $ 15 on a six-team football parlay – which will net him $ 1,430.45 if he wins, DraftKings revealed in tweet.

The bet was placed at 9:01 a.m., one minute after four casino operators – Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings, FanDuel and Rush Street Interactive – opened.

Another risky bet was the first bet on the Caesars app, with one user betting $ 20 to win $ 233.16 in five European football matches, the company said in a tweet.

On Rush Street, a fairly confident player placed $ 500 in Saturday’s Chiefs-Broncos game, a company representative said.
