New York Pizza is looking for couriers by literally shooting them into space

Has it always been your dream to go on a space journey? Then this is your chance. New York Pizza has secured a seat on its first possible commercial space flight, and this seat is reserved for one of its delivery drivers. Who knows that is you.

Sending pizza delivery guys into space is a new way New York Pizza is trying to find staff. The well-known pizza chain, like many other companies, is struggling with a shortage of staff. The job market is tighter than ever, so New York Pizza is willing to literally go to great lengths to recruit new staff.

Shortage on the labor market requires creativity

According to CEO and New York Pizza founder Philippe Vorst, it is now more important than ever to distinguish yourself as a company: “We simply want to be the best company for delivery people. Especially now that everyone is feeling the shortage on the labor market, we will go to great lengths to achieve this. So if you come and work for us, even the sky is not the limit!”

All pizza deliverers who have been employed by New York Pizza for at least four months have a chance to win the space trip. Out into space with New York Pizza…

You have to do your best for that. The spot on the commercial space flight is reserved for the best pizza delivery person in the Netherlands. This will be determined next year. The lucky winner will then receive training to prepare for this journey. When you will actually go into space is not yet certain, but it will be sometime in 2023.
