See in the video: “Rocky” is back in the wilderness – owl was hiding in the Rockefeller Christmas tree.

Rocky, the little owl is free again. The little bird had been found far from its natural habitat, in the famous Christmas tree that, as every year, had been put up outside Rockefeller Center in New York.

It is believed that Rocky went without food for three days before he was found by one of the workers
and was handed over to the animal welfare organization in a cardboard box.
The Ravensbeard Wildlife Center has now nursed the little owl, it is said to have had enough mice until it was full.
Now the vet has decided that she is ready to be released.
The animal rights activists posted a video on Facebook of the moment when Rocky, who by the way is a girl, was released to her new home. The nocturnal bird was released at dusk. She didn’t seem to be in too much of a hurry. The animal rights activists apparently looked after them very well.
