New York Museum: Show for Virgil Abloh

The planning for the exhibition, which will be on view until January 29, 2023, has been going on for around three years, and Abloh himself was still working on it before his death. The goal is “to celebrate his explosive talent,” said museum director Anne Pasternak.

Abloh died of cancer in November at the age of 41. Most recently, he worked as a designer and creative director of the men’s line at Louis Vuitton.

The Brooklyn Museum, which opened in 1887, is the second largest exhibition center in the metropolis of New York. It houses scientific and ethnological collections as well as design and art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
